24V camshaft with gear welded on. It is a regrind. Pistons will need to be cut somewhat. I do have the specs if your interested. Brand new $450
 
Forgot to mention that I would need a 24V cam for core and a cam gear.
 
ewwww welded on bad idea, i see alot of broken noses when people weld on the gears, let me know if know one picks it up maybe i can use it as a nice design peace for this bar im making, :Cheer:
 
I have been running a welded cam gear for about 3yrs with no problem.
 
Alot of it depends on how it was welded, I think if you follow good cast iron practices it would work fine, especially for a puller. 100K on a street engine I might be a little worried.

I havent seen any problems with welded gears, i know my ones ive welded will take 1400hp+
 
Don;t worry about welded cam gears it works, and its cheap and that is what 99.99% of truck pullers want and NEED. Why get all fancy when it is just not needed.
