Running a 99 dodge 2500 with Idustrial"s bigget vp44, 6x16 injectors with big tubes, s400 and a TST comp box. I can tell the box works because it pulls harder with it on but wont get to 4000 rpms. Any ideas? I'm stumped

Thanks

The only way you will pull 4k with a VP44 is with the Redline and in some cases Adrenaline. Otherwise you need a P-Pump!

Smarty alone gets 3800rpm. Not sure what it would do with TST/Smarty together.

Just lookn out side the box here but what about valve springs? if your tryn to turn 4,000 with stock valve springs...thats a no no!

Shouldn't the motor turn 4000 without different springs? We are just running it till she blows then goin p pump. Just thought we'd have some fun with a 275,000 mile bottom end lol. We got a redline on the way.

Why wouldnt you put the springs in it now and save the engine from destruction? Then you can rebuild it so it is fresh later on and save yourself some $ Ive got some springs if ur interested$.02.

I'm running a smarty and tst comp. The tst fuels to 3400 and the smarty revs to 3850.

We are goin big next year so a 24v wont be competitive anyways. My buddy isnt the brightest crayon in the box. Its his truck and thats what he wants to do.

i was just looking at my records and i have hit 3600 with just my juice w/ attitude and hot unlock
