Carrier split on Dana 60?

If I want to change out my 3.55's (or 3.54's whatever they are) in my front Dana 60 to 4.10's will I need to change the carrier?

4.10 and 3.54 us the same carrier on the 60 and 70.

Ok so my next question is what brand gears? Yukon? US Standard? Other???

D80's they are 3.73 is the split for a d80. If I recall, the d60 ARB locker is the same for the 3.54-4.10.

Even if they are different carriers, if you have a 3.54 you can get a ring gear spacer for a d60 carrier.

Im running Yukon gears in mine both front and back and have had no issues so far.

I should be good... I have been reading on a few jeep sites that US Standard and Yukon are the same gears, different box... but US Standard is cheaper... So that's why I was asking about brands...

US standard does not have the final lapping process done. They tend to have a slight louder noise. Same gear thou. D60 carrier split is 410 and D80 is 373 I have been thru these splits several times just resently.

Those specs aren't 100%. They only list 30 splines and no 32 spline.

Where do you get that info? Made in the USA is what I have found... maybe what I found is incorrect though...

I would be very surprised if the Dana gears are made in the USA.

Do a search on pirot4x4 for durasolid, thats where i saw it! They even gave the name of the company in inda that makes them!
