cast vs. tubular header, any comparisons?

I haven't hear anything lately about tubular headers. Just wondering if anyone has done any comparisons or not.
I really like the look of them vs the cast but is the money worthwhile for performance?
Also a sound clip of would be nice.

Finally who offers them?

for an engine that spends it's life above 3k rpms, there are gains to be had.

If it's daily driven, the bottom end losses outweigh the top end performance.

I'm waiting to see how long they last without cracking... Lot of money to spend if it don't last long...

For me the header was quicker from 15psi to full boost but took longer than my cast pdi t4 manifold to get the charger from 0-15psi. Also, the EGTs were lower with the header. Header was Speedshift's t4 header. It held up great during the time I had it.

talk to the guys at Jefferson State Diesel. From my conversation their tubular header has pulled severe duty on Chris Werner's rig with good results.
