I saw a few guys running the stack pipes off of some Cat equipment. I was wondering if anyone had a part number or application for these, I would like the 6" or 7". Thanks
Mike

I work at cat and could get you a part number if you want. I just helped a buddy put a stack on his pickup that i found in the metal bin at work. It was off the rear engine of a scraper and it was a 6in.

stop by a construction site after hours...they won't notice until they start it up... LOL LOL LOL

completely and utterly kidding by the way.

I did stuff like that when I was younger. Must not have been good at it as I got caught a few times. But look on the bright side. atleast it gets me out of jury duty.:hehe:

I was going to get one before I got my Aussie stack, I thing the CAT stacks look good.

I have also been looking for a part number. I was told that I want the 7" stack off of a d11 dozer, but the pic above looks like it. Got a part number?

i've been thinkin about gettin these stacks as well, what sizes do they run just six and seven or can you get them in eight inch as well?

Thats what I'm interested in is 8's. I want dual slant cuts, black, so these look like what I need.

i dont know if any of you have ever looked up close at a cat stack but there is an ugly seam on them and their welds look like crap!!! i have a 6 inch cat stack on my truck and i have a jig to tig weld it in i can build them in any size if you are looking for quality.

These are D11 stacks, not sure its what you're looking for...
I think you might want 994 stacks...

you need to jig a stack to weld it together? :hehe::hehe::hehe:

feelmecummin- that is not what I am looking for. The one I have seen looks like the other one above in 7" size, the guy that had said it was from a d11 but I suppose it wasn't. You got a pic of a 994? Anyone have an idea on what these cat stacks cost?

yes i use a jig, because there are duble miters on them wich i like to make perfict. and usuly people like quality products. i dont know about you rollin coal.
