With two 3/4" breathers in the valve cover, can the front breather be eliminated? Im sick of it pissing oil everywhere. I want to run two 3/4" breathers out of the valve cover and into the exhaust and keep the oil in the motor.

Snedge told me that the two valve cover breathers is more than enough.
I am eliminating the stock 12v tappet cover and going to a 24v cover. If I push the truck hard, I get a drip or two the the driveway.

i actually added a 24v type breather that i found at the shop, it has a oil fill in the top like the stock one, yet still has a breather hole that comes out of the side, i just ran a piece of 5/8" hose back to the stock breather to eliminate any oil drip problems, yet i never see any oil come out of it, both breather like to "haze" alittle bit when the truck is running, i have yet to see a 12v that doesen't do this.

i have a 24v. 2001. i really just want to make a block off plate for the cover, but thats kind of a lot of work to pull the cover and weld on a plate.

Cummins has a cover for it, if you want I'll get the part number for ya.

Cummins part # 3903463. For whatever reason the number 160907 is written over the part number in pen.
