CFM+ intake bit the dust

My brother had a CFM+ intake manifold on his 12 valve with a 913 pump, some 5x.012 injectors and a hx40 turbo with a manual valve body and Saturday night he was driving home from eating with his wife and shifted through the gears and locked the converter and BOOM. It split it in two different places. Kinda surprised me that an hx40 could do this. I would kinda expect it from a set of twins from what I have heard and read.

I saw the other thread after i posted. I think it is pretty funny that CFM+ says on the internet that only 2 have failed out of 10000 sold! Haha. I guess they can add 2 more in one day.
