changing my fuel filters right now...quick question

The frame rail filter isn't draining any water, it's just diesel fuel and it's a constant flow of it. Do I continue to let it drain or just remove the cap and change the filter?

WTH? How long has it been since the last time you changed the filters? Mine almost always seems like straight diesel coming out, but it stops after only a few seconds, I've never had a continuous flow of it...

I just let it drain for about 60 secs total then put the screw back in then went about the filter change as usual. There must have been so little water that I didn't notice it drain out in the beginning.
