Check Gauges

I got a 2008 5500 that is flashing "check gauges" light 3 times and dinging then goes away for a period of time then flashes 3 times again. No change on any of the dash gauges when this happens. What else does this sensor watch?. Any other suggestions? Overhead says system OK.

I have an 08 3500 and had this three times in the 70k miles since new. Each time the only thing that fixed it was cleaning the battery terminals. They didn't look corroded and I didn't have any other problems other than what you're describing.
