These are sweet. I have a bunch parts more but this is the only piece I brought to work. I get more pictures when I get it all on the truck.

This guy lives right down the road from me, I had no idea he did this. He is looking to do it full time, but right now its just a evening deal for him. He does very good work and cheap compaired to others. Id be glad to get stuff to him if anyone wants some done. He also has a website: Powder Coat Plus LLC

I get more pics of the truck when I install these parts later tonight if it is not raining.

compressor housing, turbine housing (he used some kind of piston coating) valve covers, t stat housing, air piping for the charger, air kill, and the intake horn. Im going to do more but thats all I took off.

Thats nice. I am going to have all my cold piping for the twins and my custom valve cover done in that same color.

Looks sharp Adam, just be careful, I have had the silver part wipe off with cleaner on some parts I had. I never thought it would come off that easy. They were not done by your guy, so his stuff may be way better.

Did you smooth out your air horn before you had it coated? I had my stuff done in a candy blue, and it really shows any distortions in the surface. That kind of coating might be more forgiving for that that though.

I just hit it with a flap wheel to take the seams out. All of these parts have a coat of clear powdercoat on top.

looks good i have the same power coat on my turbo piping, air horn, and valve covers :rockwoot:

Anybody do like a dark green vein? The powdercoat shop I used to work at got sold and traded around after I left so many times I don't know what they still do. We used to do everything from burial vaults to custom racing atv and automotive frames. I'd like to see what somebody could do with some of my parts in some sort of dark green vein with a clear over it. Thanks in advance if anybody could help me out.

Thanks,

Rodney

I have prices on single coat 17'' wheels and a 6 inch stack 4' long if you want those prices pm me.

Looking more for prices on the parts you were talking about getting done for yours. Have you run your charger since its been coated? Wondering how well the exhaust side is holding up and if it made any difference in spoolup/temps or if it just makes it look good.

I dont have the truck running yet, might have it done tonight, I have to put gears in the front real soon.
