What are chevy and dodge guys using for the trans temp sender port? from what i understand is some of yall dont have an access port like the ford 4r100 has. My bolt it broke to my pressure port where i would normally put my sender for the trans guage, i have tried everything to get it out. its not coming out so i need another option. is anybody using one of thses?http://www.dieselmanor.com/dm_products/DM-TRS.asp or http://www.dieselmanor.com/autometer/tmp-mnfld.asp . or have any suggestions. Thanks

The guages i am putting in are Autometers.

In my case, I just bought the line for a '94-'95 47RH equipped Ram. It already has a port for a sender. My old line was worn out, so that is why I went that route. Also came with the short rubber line. Just have to remove the check valve in it for the 47RE transmissions. The line goes from the outlet from the t/c and up to the heat exchanger under the turbo.

What you posted should work. I would prefer one that the oil ran through. not clamped to it. Might work, but never used one. Don't know how much (if any) it will affect accuracy.

i was also thinking thinking of the one made by autometer to splice into the line, im sure they wouldnt sell it if it wasnt accurate. i would hope. Thanks

I have a port in the hot line going to trans cooler, i got it from Diesel Manor
actuall have the fitting to put in a line that i did not use if you are interested

lol i think thats the one i just ordered.thanks anyway. do yall think the line temp is a better one to go by, im thinking that the port that the sender is supposed to go into would be reading the temps as its coming up out of the pan?(on the 4r100) so it would be cooler than the temp that is going to the transcooler after it had already been throuh the system? am i completly wrong here, i know very little about transmissions.
