I remember seeing chrome covers with an oil fill added for the 12'vers and can't seem to find them again???

Anybody know who had them?

:Cheer:

Working on getting pricing/pics/specs.

No I don't sell them, someone who I consider a friend does. Those in the diesel world who already know me will tell you that I don't recommend junk and I'll bend over backwards trying to help out however I can.

If a current sponsor sells them, then by all means.. keep your money within the site. I don't want to step on any toes unless I'm pissed off or drunk. :)

Hey guys we carry the Billet Valve Covers

Billet Cummins Valve Covers.... - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together

Haha my paint skills are top notch:bang:umno:

I want to know about the valve covers that have the oil fill in them! Chrome is cool but my truck isn't nice enough to warrant a pretty engine lol.

IIRC at least some of the VE trucks had an oil fill in the valve cover...

Ya... the important thing I'm after is the oil fill. If I can't find them then maybe modify my own for some breathers and just fill through those?

And then have them chromed....

Thats what I had been doing but if I put an actual "oil fill" up top and put a plate over the stock location it will look a little better and easier to understand for someone else if I for some reason didn't change my oil one time.

Something like this ?

I do not like chrome, I will paint the covers black to match with truck.

Jeff (Snedge) can sell you valve cover with oil fill.

i dont know thats what hes after

if so jeff has 3 of them right now and i have a couple too, mine are at the polishers but when they come back i think i am only gonna run one, so the other will be for sale

when ya put a billet front cover on the engine you lose the oil fill

ya can get a aftermarket fuel cap from pingle and weld the bung on to a stocker (and plug the vent). then ya can get them polished or polished then chromed if ya really want it nice. thats what i am doin to mine

was gonna do a few sets and see how much interest there was but it dont seem like anyone wants anything from me

good luck with it

That's what I was going to suggest as well.

I'm sure there would be WAY more time (and maybe money) invested in doing it this way but it is worth the hassle for the for the custom look you would achieve, right?

Yup the cover on #1 is what Iwas talkin' about! its a whole lot easier to me to pour the oil in there instead of try to get it into the stock tube for me. I guess I'll have to add that to the list of stuff I need from Snedge, just got to get $ so I can get my truck back on the road.
