Ck this out, (turbo heat shield)

cooler under hood temps and quicker spool. I love mine and I am planning to get the manifold blanket and the whole set up when I get my twins on. Levi will take good care of you.

Turbo shield

What got my immediate attention was the Turbo Inferno shield. I was at a Dyno event a couple years back and we started doing some tuning as I was the last one to run,... next thing I know I've got a firewall that's smokin'!! That sucker is hard to get out,... beleive it!

That took me to some of the other products and I felt it beneficial to put some of this in front of you guys to ck out for yourselves. I'm fixin to upgrade my turbo and that will be a good time to use that turbo shield and get me some better spooling too!

One thing I just thought of is I wonder if this will increase cool down time? Levi????
 
I'm running the turbo and manifold blankets. Cooldown time is increased by maybe 5 seconds.

The blankets don't usually increase cool down time, as the hot gases are exiting faster. I've had several people tell me they don't even use their turbo timer after putting a blanket on. Each truck is different but EGT's usually seem to fall faster with a blanket than without. WOT EGT's will come down some too, usually between 50 and 150 degrees
 
I run the manifold blanket and the turbine sock from Levi. For the money you invest it's an excellent addition and I'd definitely recommend his products. Customer service is excellent as well!
