Clutch pedel switch for cruise after swap?

i finally got my auto to manual swap finished and I'm wondering how to get the cruise to work. I do believe that having a toggle switch of some sort on that wire you ground will allow the cruise to work when the wire is not grounded. But what i'd like is to have is a more factory feel with the switch on the clutch pedal. i found this link 97 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Clutch Pedal Ignition Switch - Body Electrical - Standard | Drivewire.com but i have no idea how that even works or how it is placed up under there. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

Mounts on the clutch master cylinder pushrod that's connected to the pedal. Just kinda snaps over the rod.
