Pedal drops to floor with no resistance. Clutch wont chatter. I put a used hydro set up on that was supposed to be good does same thing. I have a brand new sb he unit sitting here on loan but if I use it i bought it. Really cant afford to use it if it won't fix the issue. Its happened before and ended up being a broke finger but clutch would still partially disengage. Question is do I risk the hydro unit or pull trans. Has less than 40k on it and its been out twice already. Any advice is welcome.

When mine did that the clutch hub had come apart and a couple of the hub damper springs got in behind the pressure plate springs. Time for a new clutch for me.

Can you move the clutch fork? Make sure it didn't fall off the Pivot ball

Feel free to give me a call. We have a simple way to check without spending any money to determine whether it is an internal or external problem. 800-988-4345

Mine did that once. I had twisted the input shaft just enough that it wouldn't let the clutch hub move back and forth.
