as far as the speed sensor your truck has 3 places to check. if it is like mine.one place is rearend sen.tranny has one also.and under the hood has a black box 16 pin next to a 6 pin driver side just next to the hood hinge.it has a red pin to open it.check it for greenish wire rot. clean it then pack it with dielectric grease.water can get in and set a code

In defense of II, is it possible that the valve is being held open longer on the dragon flow on purpose and the computer is seeing that as a bad thing?

I went ahead and bit the bullet and gave them a call this morning. About the the 0253. They think its a bad connection or just a missread with the pump from turning 4300rpms.
