Codes????

Ok buddy of mine truck started loosing power running down the road you can floor it and nothing will never gain speed. Seems to only do this when it gets warm. Codes 1693, 1694, 1687. What the heck do those codes mean????

According to the smarty manual:

1693 - DTC CLEARED IN COMPANION JTEC MODULE
1694 - NO BUS MESSAGES RECEIVED FROM ECM MODULE
1687 - NO CLUSTER BUS MESSAGE

If I remember right, most guys associate 1693 with a dying VP, but someone will have to verify me on that...

anyone know whats going on with this truck. New pump, new lift pump cause of low fuel psi, and TPS

Sounds like the ecm is acting up. Did he go through a puddle & possibly get something wet? I would try disconnecting the batteries for 15minutes & reconnect.

been doing it for a while now. Looses power after about 10min of driving. wont accelerate, truck just lugs down.
