Common rail down pipe troubles

I'm trying to fit a cr into a 02 f250. Just wondering what people have done to fit a down pipe?

i cut the stock 4 inch downpipe up above where it bends and bought 3 ft of flex pipe for 40 bucks and called it a day. it may fit on its own at least til you put the truck in reverse then the downpipe starts smackin the cab

I just used a MBRP downpipe for the CR. In fact it lined up perfectly with the MBRP exhaust that was in the truck with the 7.3. Only modification was to cut off the hanger on the down pipe.

depends on what people are using as trans too.. the 5r110. and zf6 has starter on exhaust side. I'm not a fan of that as it takes dp room away

I'm using the 48re. I've been going through photo's on here and other sites and what do you know? The floor pan is different to, so I'm going to pull the engine and modify the firewall unless someone knows something about "banjo type turbine discharger" and where to get one?
