So, I have an 04 with a 6.7 swap, fireringed stage 3 head, arp625s, dual 10mm cp3s, flux 209% injectors and a fully built fmvb trans with a 2400-2600 stall. I have an s492, with 103 turbine and a 1.58AR feeding an s369, with a 73 turbine and a 1.10AR. I'm wondering, if it'll be better to use my s480 phatshaft with an 83 turbine and .90AR, instead of the s369. right now my drivre pressures are fine. With the converter unlocked, I have about 1:1.28 boost to drive non gated. With the converter locked I have about 1:0.85 boost to drive non gated. I would like a better charger that the s369 and better low end response. I think the s480, would fit well, but I'm not entirely sure. I do have a 38mm precision wastegate that I'd put on the housing for the s480 and vent that to the hot pipe to feed the s492. What do y'all think?

Your going the wrong direction for better low end response. A 480 as a secondary charger is huge.

an 80 responding better than a 69? Man I need a common rail.

When i had the s480 as a single, it spooled better than my s369 as a single. The 480 has a .90 exhaust housing on it a spools very well, where as the 369 has a 1.10 housing and is a little laggy.

Is a smaller housing on the 69 out of the question? Could gate around it if DP gets high.

I could, but I'd rather not spend the couple hundred for a new housing. Just being lazy and cheap. Already spent too much on this thing lol
