No Scheid this year, and I am curious about the flame.

We have seen it and there has been discussion about it. It wasn't in the first hook, but you see it in the second. It happens right at the 1-2 shift. The pump I have start to defuel about 4500, which is where I shift. So think this is developing because of a lean out condition or?

Definately the lean condition during the shift caused the flame.

Thanks, that was my thoughts, guess it means I had some a little more R's on that run!

Yeah, on a loose track out here in CA, if I pull the throttle back while the engine is still spinning 5K+ it will flame a bit, but will go away as soon as I throw the throttle all the way forward.
