DOyou need a special tool [8324] to remove the injector tube??ORis there some other way to get these out??

They make a tool and its a good idea if your going to be doing this a few times. If not you can use plyers to pry gently straight outward, maybe even use a screwdriver to put behind it to aid in leverage. Be careful of the threads I would soften the plyer tips with electrical tape or something. There is only a rubber O-ring holding them in, once your past that they will pop out.

I just use a small flat head screwdriver to pop them out. Doesn't take much force....

I dont know if there is alot of difference between a 3rd gen and a 2nd,, but i am having a terrible time to get the #6 out. all the rest cam out decent,, but no, not #6. I have tried quite a few things,, even resorted to using a pair of vice grips and a big screwdrive,, nope, wont budge,, what do you think could be holding it up?

Thanks

Kevin

mine have always just pulled out by hand. If you have the retaining nut out.... there's no reason the tube shouldn't come out. Just try to pull it out as straight as you can.

yeah all the rest came out nice and easy by hand... Im going to get a mirror in there tonight and see if I can figure out what the heck is going on
