Has anyone ever put Sport headlights on a non-sport. I played with them a little tonight, got them to both work on dim, and one on bright but they didn't seem to be bright enough. non sport-1 bulb, sport-2 bulb. not sure why both bulbs have 3 contacts. I understand why the bright would have 3 but not the dim. any input greatly appreciated.

I have heard about doing this for better lights. Someone told me that you have to put a sport grille and bumper as well since they are different then the non sport???

yea, i'm doing that as well, but they seem to line up ok, it's just the wiring that i'm not 100% on.

nevermind, just ordered a conversion kit for it. kinda pricey but plug-n-play, and will allow use of all 4 lamps on high and low(the right way)

Daniel Stern Lighting has all the wiring you need. You dont have to change the grill or bumper

Here is a diagram of how to wire relays on an 01. This will keep both of the low beam filaments lit and both of the high beam filaments lit. If you don't want to light the low beam filaments when the high beams are on, don't make the connection between terminal 30 on the high beam relay and terminal 87A on the low beam relay.
