Convertor lock up question

I have a pcs controller running my ferd tranny behind a 12v and I'm just wondering for those of you that have manual lock up switches are you only locking them in 2nd gear when you're pulling or racing? I had mine set to lock in 2nd but it just sucks for city driving. I guess what I'm after is is it ok to leave the convertor unlocked until 3rd or say 65km when city driving with light tps load situations?

Yes you can set it to lock in 3rd and up. Most come from the factory and in stock form only lock in 4th, or third when od was locked out. Dodge trannys when you have a lock up switch they still only lock up like factory 3rd or 4th, but with the switch and a aftermarket valvebody you can lock it with the switch when ever you like. Mine will work like stock, or i can lock it in 1-4 when ever i choose or i can keep it from locking period.
