I wanted to know if its HP or RPMs that blow out the rear freeze plug?

I was looking into getting a bypass, but I'm really not sure if I need one.

I run a 4kgsk, and am thinking about a Scheid 5k, Stock600 says his truck started and ran smooth with their kit, better than CDSs. I will setup the 5k loose, so it defuels around 4000rpm.

My truck is a daily driver and a tow rig, that goes to the drag strip once and a while.

I have my trans out now, so I'm not sure.

Thanks,
Tony

I was told it was rpm that was the plug blower ... either way its not hard to rig one up hardest part is getting the plug out with the head still on.

If you're going to do it, do it now with the tranny out. It's a whole lot easier than with the tranny in. Even if you're not sure where to plumb the outflow from the bypass back into the coolant system, put it in and attach the hose and cap it off for now.
