So I installed my Copilot into my truck tonight and followed all the directions to a t. When I first tryed it, my TC wouldn't lock at all. So I bypassed the whole box and everything went back to working as normal. I checked all my connections and plugged the box back in. The second time I used it, the TC was locked the whole time and would not unlock, however the green indicator light did not say the TC was locked. After this i bypassed it all again and the TC is still locked and won't disengage! Need help from anyone who may have had this problem before!! :nail:

An Update!

Mess with it alittle this morning, disconnected the batteries and bypassed the system and everything is working as normal, however when I hook up the CoPilot the TC never locks?!?! Wiring appears to be correct...

Finally got it workin! After thinking about the symptoms, I figured that the ATS control box must not have been getting a speed sensor signal seeing as the module locks the TC based on MPH. After reviewing the male portion of the ATS plug I found that the wire that leads to the speed sensor wire on the computer was in the wrong pin!!!! After switching pins, it worked like a charm! Thing takes ok like a bastard now and I did the biggest burnout I've ever done with out even trying lol! Other then the plug being wired incorrectly, great product ATS!

i love my copilot. i have run this setup for a while now... initially i had a trans built by performance innovations in wilmington, nc. my best time at the track was 13.7@97

when that one blew up (3 months) i switched over to ATS with a copilot... everything on the truck is still the same, and now i consistently run high 12s with my best so far being a 12.7 ... being able to lock the convertor as low as 18mph really helps on take off.

My dad runs an ATS stg 6 in his 04.5, minus the copilot, and i cant stand not having the convertor lock in 3rd while DDing. great product.
