I have three questions concerning my 99.

One, I've searched on this site and realize that OEM fogs were available on 99 auto trucks. The mopar kit has been discontinuted, does anybody know where I could possibly get one?

Two, the dimmer does not work in the light switch. No matter where I scroll it up (brighter) or down (dimmer) the dash stays full bright. I also don't get a cargo light if I go all the way up. Is this a common problem with this year model truck? Oh also when I push the o/d lock out button on the shifter there's no light on the dash. Possible bulb burnt out? Where would it be located on the cluster?

Three, the trans was just completely gone through about 6 months ago. The truck is only 3.55 geared and currently wearing wore out 35" BFG AT's. The transmission shifts very quickly at low speeds. By 50-55mph on the dash (I believe?) the convertor locks and the truck is ready to FLY I usually have to let off the throttle when this happens because I'm already over the speed limit. I'm not to savy to auto's I've always had stick trucks, but any idea if this will change with smaller tires since the truck will rev quicker? I have a set of '01 Alloys with 265 Toyo AT's waiting to go on. Gotta clearance problem on the front I have to address.:bang Or will I have to take the truck back to the trans shop that did the work for VB adjustment most likely?

Thanks everybody....and I did try and use the search feature to answer these...I really just don't knwo what I'm looking for on the auto trans tech.

Trans sounds normal to me, whats it rev out to if you floor mat it?

Mark, just an FYI for ya, the alloy wheels won't clear the brakes on a 99 without some modifications.

Yeah I figured that out the other day.:kick::owned:

Stuck them on there and for the life of me couldn't figure out why the truck wouldn't drive. Messed with the rear brakes again and again AND AGAIN....finally got the bright idea to pull the front tires off when the rears spun fine in the air.:bang Nice little gouge where they were hitting something.

Plan on doing some "modifications" tomorrow evening!:rockwoot:
