Would not be a good swap, the LSA , or lobe separation angle on a 24 valve is 108, the CR is 98.5. The CR has this tight LSA to give passive EGR .
The wider LSA’s are the road to more power without overlap. the MaxSpool 2.5++ has a LSA of 108 to 112 depending on applications my newest race cams in both roller, and flat tappet are as wide as 116 .
Anyone going tighter is going in the wrong direction; this is in my 25 years of cam design opinion
