I have a Common Rail head, cut for Hellmann's intake.

Cut for fire rings, has Motorsport threaded coolant plugs.

Ploydyn Teflon coated intake and high temp coating on the exhaust runners, 3K miles on it. Machined for 45* intake/exhaust valves.

Can take pics if needed.

$1,000

Thanks

I did a port and polish while it was apart. I want to say it has new seats, not sure about the guides.

Head is in Houston, Texas, I'll put it on a pallet and get a quote on shipping if the buyer wants to see how much it would be.

I boxed a naked head and sent it UPS. They allow up to 150 lbs. Cheaper and easier than dealing with a freight company.

No problem. I cut a piece of plywood the exact shape of the head and bolted it through the headstud holes. It was delivered in perfect shape.

That is exactly what I did also, was right on the border line for weight, but went through

also, forgot to mention that I filled in the 'pockets' on the intake side with high temp epoxy. #1 and #6 are flat, #2-#5 are humped.

What epoxy did you use to fill them?? I can see where it would help smooth the airflow

man would have never thought of that before kinda neat. has that been proven to actually help? as in dyno numbers or anything?

The idea behind coating the exhaust is to keep the heat(energy) from being wasted, and to drive the turbo(s) harder.

I don't see why 'humps' on the intake could hurt performance.

Wouldn't happen to have a name brand for that epxoy would ya? This makes perfect sense and I would like to try it out.

We had some roush heads that were epoxied like the pic but all they way around the intake port. Then there were small (1/8 radius ish) dimples ground into the epoxy. Less turbulence and flowbench proven.

Pic of coating on face of cylinder head. The coating can be ground off with a wire/flapper wheel if needed.
