So with all the threads about a CR melt down, Those who dont care to post their setups when it occured post here.

Besure to include:
Truck year make and tranny and what you do with it? Sled pull, drags?
Programmers - along with settings - include everything, timing, ect.
Boxes stacked - again same as above -
Mod pump or duals
Injectors - brand and size
Charger
Water injection/meth/propane/nitrous
Normal operating rail pressure during WOT runs
Smoke amount - clear or heavy.

Lets see if we can get a pattern here.
Please only post setups, and keep the discussions to the other threads.

06 dodge qc sb
custom eep 2.6 charger
dual cp3 kit
smarty tq 4,rp 2,timing 1
mp8 100% on hard runs
auto trans full billet
stock injectors......lol
fass 150 with filters
rp on wot around 28k
cleans up pretty good.....
mostly daily drive but also pull and drag race..

04.5, 6 speed, Sled pulling
tntr/mp8--sw9,timing 4 (least), mp8 at 80%
dual cp3
flux 4
64/s480
no drugs, no water, fuel only
26k rail pressure
almost no smoke wot.

Hmm, hard to explain all the ways,

1st time
#5 piston 600 series engine
Smarty TNT-R #8 #4 timming TST r38 6x? mp8
Stock pistons, stock head 75mm s400 Flux 5.1's
Melted during pull

2nd time 600 series engine
dont remember what cyliners but there was two starting to burn the rims, pulled apart for bent rods and found pistons on the way to cheesy land.
555 electronics, Smarty #8 #4 timming, TST 3/0 Flux 5.1's 75mm s400

3rd time- 555 ish pistons- vp pistons machined to resemble non-rentrant but since the center dome did not turn out to be steep enough I changed nozzles to 555 nozzles on Dons recommendation. Pistons were Polydyne ceramic coated.
Smarty #7 Timming #2 TST 3/0 Flux 7.5's 75mm turbo.
This time melted every piston and #1 went through the rings as well as the cylinder wall and cracked the #2 cylinder from the heat.

05 600 series motor
edge juice and occasional bully dog
melted cylinder number 4 cracked the cylinder wall and trashed the head

2005 QC LB DTT Transmission Daily Driver
Smarty Revo 4.11 (I believe), settings varied but usually on SW7
Stacked with Quad Race Pressure only, but rarely used it, never set on high setting
Flux 2 injectors
62/71/13SS over S474 (had a fubar'd wastegate that wasn't helping the situation)
No water/meth/propane/nitrous
Twin cp3's, so rail pressure would run up to 24.5kpsi, that's as far as I'd let it go
Smoke amount was a haze on daily driving, could be heavy if I wanted, cleared up while under full boost

The truck was completely stock til about 120,000 miles and it was used to tow my skid/steer and mini-excavator for my landscaping business. I sold the landscape business and used some of the money to mod the truck. The twins NEVER saw above 1250 degrees, and yes the pyro was mounted correctly in the exhaust manifold. After I put a rail pressure gauge on, I found out my max rail pressure was only 12kpsi. I brought the cp3 to Industrial Injection and they found a piece of silicone stuck in one of the plungers...I'm assuming since day one. One day I had a bit of white smoke on startup and the truck was idling very rough. I had it towed to Wide Open Performance and they pulled the injectors. While the truck was there, they pulled the head just to see what the pistons looked like. To my surprise, the above pics is what was found. The truck dynoed 720hp about two weeks prior to finding the carnage and probably would've still ran if I just swapped injectors. After the build, my Flux injectors came back and one of them got stuck open again. I switched to DDP200 injectors and then I couldn't spool the truck...at all! Pulled the top turbo off and found the fubar'd wastegate. It's been running like a champ since the build! Ran a 11.91sec 1/4 mile on Friday and dynoed 776hp on Saturday.

Did not have a rail pressure gauge at the time, was my DD with just an edge juice.

Not sure when the melting happen, as it was still running pretty well when we found it during new mods....

05 (Street and Drag Racing)
Melted #4
Running BD Crazy Larry / With MP8......Switched to the Smarty TNT during that season (SW9, Timing #2, TM3 or 4, RP stock....used mp8 for that.
Flux 2's (Smoke cleared up well)
Floor It Stg. 2 cp2
I.I. Silver 62
EGT's were in the 1400-1500 range.

Did not have a RP guage......

Mine was most likely due to a cracked /bad injectors body!!
