What does everyone think would be the best cam setup on a common rail dodge with a 2.6 turbo for pulling. Fly cutting the pistons are not a problem, since the motor will be apart. Will be running a big single cp3 or twins, ddp 180 injectors, and a smarty, so 4,000 rpms will be there.
 
H2 cam from f-1 would be a great cam for 3500+ for the 2.6 class just don't forget the springs plus you won't have flycut the pistons
 
I figured, I just didn't want people to rule out the possibility of flycutting. I have springs already
 
I run a Scheid Cam, I really like it keeps egts pretty cool but then again still need a cp3 to get all my fuel. My pistons were fly cut as I ordered a different cam that required a fly cut piston but was getting late in the year and the motor needed to go back together so I ordered Scheids drop in cam.
 
i have a h2 cam and i would like to try a hamilton cam to see what difference it would make heard they are better.
 
I have a custom cam from maxspool. had to flycut pistons a bunch to get the cam to clear. compression is roughly 14:1 now. I would have to look for the specs but I can remember the intake lobe has roughly .060 more lift than stock with 55 degrees of added duration.
 
I just ordered a stage II cam from schied. It requires flycutting. They have a stage III but us commonrail guys dont have enough rpms. I just ordered it so i have no feedback on how it is. I used to have their street cam on the hardness was knocked off it. This cam is not a regrind, it started as a blank.
 
I have a 6.7 cam that could be used for a regrind, it has the wider lobes.

Sorry i didnt fill in my sig. My truck is pretty well same setup. 150 injectors, 2.6 charger, flycut pistions, dual cp3s, smarty, tst, and then all the bolt ons that go along with. You will be close to 4,000 rpm i still dont see 4,000 rpm im close to it, so dont be disappointed its you dont hit 4,000rpm. Anyway I told Brad what i had and he lead me to the stage II. Again i havent put it back together yet so i dont know how it runs with it.
