Has anyone else had a cracked battery cable terminal? I have had both neg terminals let go. It appeares the failed lugs may have taken out the VP-44.

i cracked one taken it off , not it just cracking on its own

what dtc codes do you have?? just wounder why you think it junked your vp44

If the ground cable to the engine block is cracked it will arc causing intermintent voltage spikes to the VP-44 pump and take out the intrenal electronic control card.

ground cables don't arc . that is why when you unhook your battery ,you unhook the the ground first. you would be surprised how much of a spike the eletronics will take. vp 44 fail mainly due to low fuel supply pressure

Any current carring conductor will arc when under load and the last time I looked a ground cable is a current carring condoctor. :thankyou2:
