Took my heads after a wot run ended in a loud bang. found the number 5 piston had a nice crack all the way through the middle. Anyone have any input on what to go with for new pistons?
Not sure on power numbers but all mods to list were: PPE hot +2 350 hp, s&b intake, 5 in exhaust, ats transmission, ported turbo intake tube, and water meth injection. the injectors were border line shot right before it happened and after it happened they were all running +/- 3.9-4.2 balance rates except for the number 5 which was + 7.9. and i was thinkin socal would be a good place to go through as well.
injectors probly were the culprit , the LB7 pistons have proven to be pretty tuff , X2 on guy from socal . Curtis is top notch also .
