I have owned a 07 5.9l (still got it) a 08 6.7l(Sold it) and just recently purchased a 1998 12v 5.9l 4x4 auto quad cab short box 4x4. I love it but there are a few little things. For some reason my oil pressure goes to zero. usually at low idle and happens a lot more when the temperature is warm out. I changed the oil sender unit with a brand new one from cummins.Skip to 5min mark and you will see what I am saying

Just curious as why when it is warmer out? My truck has like a pto thing on the fuel petal for high idle in the winter. But seems like the idle is out on the truck cause if I have it spun all the way out which should be normal idle its then low and happens more often. Coming to stop signs and braking. if I turn that pto up a little it doesn't happen as or as often. gets me worried at times.

the pressure senders on these motors arent that great. Ive replaced a couple. Dont get an aftermarket one, get the cummins OE part.

loose connection somewhere? No way you actually have 0 psi like that.
what about reading the resistance of that sender directly when it cuts out? see if its a bad sender or a wiring issue.

I would be a manual gauge on it to check the electric one. I would say you have a loose or bad wire some where or the dash gauge is bad.

Test it with a manual gauge to make certain.....but I think you have an electrical issue. Looks like a shorted wire to me. When you turn, or hit a bump, or hit the turn signal, it goes south.

I use to think that as well about the turning right thing. It's just coincidence as I am slowing down to turn. RPMS going low at stop light. it would do the same if I kept going straight and stopped without turning either way.
