Cruise control indicator light

So my cruise works just fine on my 99 ppumped truck but the dash light does not come on. Where the hell do I need to look to fix that? Already replaced the bulb and that didn't fix it. Not sure where to look next

You're two steps ahead of me, I can't get my cruise to work but I can get my light to come on. I'm curious about this too.
