At545 ring gear works...gotta check on what starter. Can't remember.

I have been looking for a bell housing flywheel and starter to bolt my 1st gen to a 3053 5 speed spicer. I may be interested if I can find the other parts I need.

Sounds good. There Is a lot of swap info on 4bt swaps.com. I was going to use it with a steel flywheel for a dodge and make a spacer and use a at545 ring gear for a pulling tractor. I have a friend that did the same thing so I know it works. I thought the 3053a needed a sae 2 pattern though ?

All the 3053 trannys I have or run acrossed have sae #3. The sometimes have an adapter ring from the sae #3 to the strange pattern that a multifuel engine has. It is close to a sae #2 but is a little different due to a cut out on the drivers side for the winch drive shaft.
