Hey everyone , I was looking for some specs on the marine 8.3. Turbo and injector sizes, pump specs etc. I have a 8.3 that I am going to be putting into a pulling tractor and was thinking on basically putting it similar to marine trim for the first year. I don't have a ESN so I can't find anything on quick serve and Cummins can't tell me anything without one. Any info is appreciated.

I had a feeling that was the case. LOL It's shipping today, we had to pull one out of a tractor.

No problem. Thank you again. Let me know on that input shaft when you get a chance. Gonna see if I can get that 8.3 to run with a mild 466. Pump, turbo injectors etc for the first year. Hopefully it will make some power.

you will have fun with the 466 tractors, stock A pump ,stock injectors, hydra power delete ,HX55 turbo with 19 housing .
Run a double clutch you will be able to make some 6 gear passes in 8,500 lb.
It will choke out ,but the momentum will put you way ahead of everyone else

We will find out if it will hold lol Im sure someone has done it before but I haven't ran across anyone yet. It will be a open class. I would like to try and get it into 6000 and also pull 7 and 8200 a couple times a year. I will be competing against 560's and triple 6's with 466's and a few small deeres n/a on alky.

Dane I have watched your videos many times. Your tractor runs very well. Thanks for the info. I have a 96 truck motor. I bought it as a long block so I have no pump, turbo, manifold etc It was originally a p pump motor. Were they had the marine motors over 400hp stock, I don't think it will be too hard (or crazy expensive) to make 5-600hp with one. How do the head gaskets hold on these motors and how has the reliability been ? I will be ditching the 3 speed and will start with at least a 2 disc clutch. I am going to build a light front axle and pray I can make 6000 with 18.4-38s on steel, cage and the cast tub. I started making a aluminum trans-rearend cover and will probably just cut and drill as much as I can on the stock dash pedestal for now. Pedestal and front rails will be next years project. Unless I can't make weight.
