Cummins ????'s

Well I finally Got my '91 Cummins Torn Down and sent to the machine shop.. Gonna get it checked out and maybe get some work done too it... This is where you guys come into play...

What possible problems should i look for? Motor has just over 300K
If i Do do any machine work, what should i get done?

just have the machine shop check it out, if they deal with diesels they will tell you what needs to be done. I say at the least put new rings and bearings in it. Have the shop mag it to check for cracks. Probably wanna replace the cam bushing too.

Have them check out the head too.
