Cummins suburban?

my auto tech teacher told me that a suburban body would fit on a 02+ dodge 3/4 or 1 ton chassis, is there any truth to that?

I'm sure you'd have to do some gnarly body mount fabrication..... not to mention wiring...
Might be easier to just swap the Cummins drive train into the Chevy chassis.

Wiring is gong to be a lot more complex for a newer engine thats why we went with a 12 valve in our Suburbans. We also used the Chevy frame just to keep the Chevys tighter turn radius . What year Suburban? and was it a Diesel to begin with? 4x4? Rich
