I got board at the shop today. So i took one of my Sliver bullets and turn it into a sliver bullet 71mm. I used a 71mm billet wheel and with some custom machine work on the comp housing it's done. I have to finish polishing the housing again and put it all back together tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it done this weekend. Here is 1 pic sofar. I willl post some more when it all done.

boy that sure looks just like the one that was at the Bullseye turbo shop when I was there the other day.

Yes. I had to make a hole new insert because to go 71mm there was not enough meat there to get 2.830 bored into the housing. I should have took some pics when i was machining all the parts but i forgot.

Don't think it will work for a pulling charger if you modified the MWE.

don't know they are buggin me to try it but I am runnin twins, but they had solid covers made (no mwe grove) and then they drilled holes into it ,alot like the turbonetics GTK has.

the groove was made same as schieds 2.8 chager. it will be up and running in the morning an we will see.

Well it spools very quick for a 71mm turbo. The boost will go to 67psi and drive pressure only goes up to 64psi. From a dead stop it spools fast but when the convertor locks the boost gauge goes to 50psi and starts bounces from 30psi to 50psi until you let out of it. If you get back into it again quick it will keep pulling.

So you changed wheels and didn't re balance the turbo? Will that not create a problem longterm?

Ok, I was just wondering because I have seen people make the mistake of mismatching wheels, etc. and end up with a big boom and shredded turbo.
