Custom Autos LLY does 1200HP

Just got word that the guys at Custom Auto of Idaho Falls took their little black LLY down to Bullydogs shop today and did 1194hp on the first run, and an even 1200hp on the second.

Congrats guys, heck of an accomplishment. That truck is buck nasty! Hopefully there is some video and charts you can post...

PS-glad to hear their dyno driveshaft held up for you guys this time

Have they had that thing on the track lately? The only number i've ever heard of it running was in the low 12's, 1200hp is a little more healthy than 12's, just curious if there are any new #'s. Congrats though, it takes alot to get there.:clap:
 
thats what sucks, the nearest track is 250+ mi away. they are building one local that is supposed to be done next year, but i heard they might make it 1/8mi instead of 1/4mi.
 
Yeah, I've heard of that track too. It's changed hands so many times, lost funding, gained funding, was gonna be 1/4, was gonna be 1/8, it's kind of turned into a big joke. I wouldn't hold my breath for that one to come thru any time soon. Load the truck up, drive the 150 mi to Salt Lake and let's see some sweet 1/4 times. I bet it would fly down the track!
 
Thanks guys, I'll be posting up some video's and dyno charts tonight, I tried to do it last night but I was having issue's getting everything loaded.



We took the truck to BullyDogs Superflow to verify the numbers we have been running with the truck. We've been running the truck hard all summer, it's got more than 20 runs over 1000hp and about another 12 runs over 1100 all on a Superflow. So finally with a couple changes to the tuning and nitrous setup getting to 1200 was pretty cool, and we only did that on one stage of N2O.



So now we have a 1151hp LB7 and a 1200HP LLY, all in the little state of Idaho!!! LOL, we are just having a lot of fun with these things, I can't wait for next year and hit the track to get her dialed in!!!
