Anyone know who can make me a custom cog pulley? I'm looking to get a cog pulley added/built into my crank balancer. Can Hellman make me something like that?

I'm sure if anyone can he can. I am haveing a custom 12" pulley made right now at my local machine shop, they drew it up in solid works then tossed my slab of aluminum in and it went to work. I am also converting over to serpentine belt drive at the same time so I am having a 6" serpentine crank pulley cut into the harmonic balancer and the 2 pulleys will then be integrated together.

If you find a good enough machine shop they can make you almost anything usually the its peoples wallet thats the limiting factor.

I called Joe and he said he couldn't because his machine is 4 axis and needs a 5 axis cnc to make the cog cuts. He recommended Keating but I can't find a phone number for him. Anyone know how to get ahold of him?

Type in keaton machine on yahoo and he has sources on his website but I hope ur in no hurry.

Alright then, who else can machine something like that? Someone that can do it quickly.

I have no clue man u can try keaton just don't. Get disappointed what are u wantin it for ? Fuel pump?

What is this for?

There are plenty of cogged pullies available through places like mcmaster carr and grainger. It might be easier to find someone who can make an adapter to put a common pulley on your existing balancer.

You could turn one out on a manual mill easy with the proper attachments and correct endmill. Talk to a local machine shop.

I know Brent Payne at Genes Machine Shop has some nice aluminum cog belt drive pulleys that they use for driving dry sump pumps and fuel pumps off of on the tractor engines. I'd give them a call and see what he has available.
