Dakota Digital Boost Sensor

I have a high resolution Dakota digital boost gauge that I think has lost a sensor. I hit the leads of the sensor with an OHM meter and have electrically open circuits between the Hot, ground and Snd wires. This gauge/sensor set was purchased in 2005, and the dak digital site lists a new sensor under the same part number.

Does anyone know who makes this sensor? I know the low resolution sensors/senders they sell are primarily VDO parts, but searching VDO doesn;t bring up the new or old part.

I have this listing on summitracing which displays the old unit.
Thanks for any help

It looks like autometer and dakota digital have both gone to johnson controls P499 series sensors with packard connectors. Not entirely sure though.

I was hoping some industrail maint. or hvac guys would know what is up.
