I am in need of the cross shaft that holds the spiders in my carrier. I had to doctor it up a little the last time the gears broke I'm sure its junk this time. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Not sure what you mean by that. If i remember right there is a cross bar that holds the 4 spiders in place.

When I broke mine I found out you have to buy a whole new limited slip setup. So for just a little more I put a Detroit locker in.

The cross pins are flat in mine. I really dont want to but a whole carrier right now, if I have to I'll patch it up with used stuff again.

The flat ended cross pins are the new style. If you buy new spiders and clutches it will come with new pins.

So whos got the good stuff? I have seen yukon has some, spicer themselves and a few other companies that have parts, just lookin for some recomendations. Thanks for all the replies.

Spicer is OEM I think. They might be a little more money but I think they make better parts.

I know dana and spicer are the same company. I'd like to know where you guys have ordered your parts from in the past.

Thanks
Mike

Sorry for not being much help, it was mostly a reply to 01smoke. You might check your local transmission shop and check their prices verses online. Sometimes you'll get boned on price, sometimes it might be quicker/cheaper from them via their suppliers.

I dont rember what I payed. I was jast sayin that I think that spicer/dana are better parts. But some times u have to pay a little more to get better parts but its cheeper in the long run.
