pull them out and see what they look like, long as it doesn't have a gooseneck pin or been loaded heavy they should be fine.
I would be more worried about the carrier bearings and the pinion bearings than the ends.. the carrier bearings get warn expecially on the ring gear side and the backlash opens up taking out the ring and pinion.
I had a dana 80 here I bought for the gears and the preload on the carrier with 130k on it was almost nothing. it should have been .010.. the wheel bearings looked brand new.. so i would look at the center...
