How many miles can i get on axle bearings and would any body know what bearings and seals to use? I am now at 333xxx miles i am considering on replacing bearings and seals.$.02$.02

D80 srw uses D70 hubs, bearings, and seals. Surprised you haven't had to replace seals already.

well the seals had been replaced but it wasn't by me.But thanks for the info.

pull them out and see what they look like, long as it doesn't have a gooseneck pin or been loaded heavy they should be fine.

I would be more worried about the carrier bearings and the pinion bearings than the ends.. the carrier bearings get warn expecially on the ring gear side and the backlash opens up taking out the ring and pinion.

I had a dana 80 here I bought for the gears and the preload on the carrier with 130k on it was almost nothing. it should have been .010.. the wheel bearings looked brand new.. so i would look at the center...
