wonderin what kinda rearend is in my 01 5 speed 4x4 short box quad cab... i dunno where to find this i want to get some ARB lockers but dunno what ones i need.. is there a way to tell? i know i dont have the 4.10 gears if that helps.... on the interstate im aat about 2,200 rpm doin 75-80 i beleave

you must have 3.54 gears. you can get only a couple of lockers for that rear end with that ratio. ive been looking around and i cant find anything for less than $700. all because of the ratio. it it was 4.10, you would have many more options

ARB: Dana 80 35 Spline/3.55 Gears

and your front is:

ARB: Dana 60 32 Spline/3.55 Gears

Theres a sticker under your hood, right close to the grille.

Looks like this-

i just looked under the hood of my 01 and my 00 and couldn't find a tag like that anywhere

I have an 01 Auto 4x4 short box quad cab. It has Dana 60 up front and Dana 70 in the rear with 4:10 gearing. I am around 2400 rpm at 80 mph on the freeway.
I would think the 3:54 gearing would have lower rpm's than what you are getting at that speed. So you might have 4:10 gearing. I am no expert though. So I could be wrong.

if you are at that rpm and speed with those tires you have 4.10s

Nope, my dad's truck is identicle... 3.54's at 70 with 265 tires(stock size) are right at 2000 at 70 mph. So 2200 @ 75-80 is dead on. My truck was the same till I went with 35" tires, now I'm around 78-79 @2000 rpms. Also, if you look at your rear differential cover, there will be a sheetmetal tag held on by a bolt or two. It will tell you what axle you have and gears. But with the manual trans you have a D80 and with those speeds/rpms you have 3.54s
