my 02 that i have had sence brand new now with just 100k miles on it, have not had any issues with the dask cracking and i get in it yesterday and dang half of the dash was cracked and feel. guess its time to figure out what to do to fix it. what have you guys used to replace or cover your cracked dash...
 
I would just replace it. It's not if they crack it's when they do.
 
Check out LMC's full replacement dash. It's cheaper ($200)and haven't heard of any problems yet.
 
A buddy of mine just swapped his out. Couple of hours.

Jesse is right. Just a matter of time. Took mine till 240k, but it cracked.
 
Well...thanks for the info guys. I am going to probably buy an 02 this week and it has a cracked dash. LMC has a nice fix for not too bad of a price. Thanks Tejas TJ!
 
194k on mine and not a single crack

LMC. Took me an hour to swap mine out. Stupid easy to do. Just a lot of screws to take out. There are gonna be a few that are absolutely impossible to put back in unless your a quadruple jointed monkey.
 
ok i got my new LMC full replacement dash in yesterday. hope to start changing it out tomrrow, i noticed some screws that are gona be a lil hard to get out, they hold the defrost vents up to the dash but come thru from the back side, i will take pictures as i go to help inform others of what to expect...... wish me luck
 
Those are the ones you can't get back in. Just break the plastic around them. Much easier to remove that way.
