DATA Logging now available

So is there a plan to have a "Player" in UDC? So in any program you are in you could import the cvs file, select a play button and watch what cell highlight? So if you have engine load and RPM then you could identify where you are in a program correct?

Also question on engine load on 03-04 trucks. Will Smarty have a calibration factor or a setting so us early gen guys can actually see true engine load in real time on the touch? 68.7 =100%

How about some more examples. Stock datalog's on early and late model trucks.. With all pids available for each year.. In the example you are currently showing is "ES" engine speed? So its RPM?

Hi Craig!

Indeed we do have a playback function in mind. We would like to get input from all as to the degree of usefulness this would provide Smarty Touch users. Would it be worth it to do the display and analyze on a PC vs analyzing on the screen of the Touch where the smaller screen can be more difficult to view? I would love to hear everyone’s input.

As to the calibration factor for the determination of actual engine load on the 03/04! The PID’s value that we read are the values coming from the ECM. At this time we do not have any scale factor but the customer can do anything with the data logging file. This is being discussed and is on our list.

Thank you!

Brian
