Are there any other injectors that are in this range of (DDP4) performance that I should be considering before I make this purchase?

:Cheer:

I like my ddp3, but want more... There are many injector choices... You have a PM

You can have any size you want made if your willing to pay. Its all what you want and how much you want to spend. DDP also makes a comp injector. Not sure the size but several here run them. CDS also makes a good injector. and will custom make about anything you want

I would say go with the ddp4's for what youre looking to do. street driving and 650hp. they are a very clean injector for the power they can produce.

Are the DDP4's the same as the competition series? I just got the competition series for my truck, I don't know the size or number of holes. I had another companies 5x12's and the truck ran great but an uneven fuel spray was causing issues here and there. Had them bench flow tested and found a difference of 12 liters per minutes from the highest to lowest injector. I'm sure they would ahve been great if they had been balanced...

Comps are larger.. I have the comp 79's.. If you have a 160 pump, go with a large injector. I've got a 160 pump, stock 131 dv's, and comp injectors. No smoke, low egt's, and 11.52 diesel only quarter so far in a daily driver.. I'm very happy with them..

DDPs are a marine injector (155* spray pattern), that is EDMd and then extrude honed. They then raise the pop pressure to 300 bar.

PM Smokem and get yourself a proper spray patter injector (145*) for ALOT less. He will build you any size you want.

So they are like fancy 370's or something?

Worked over 370's is a good way to put it. My DDP 1's ran good when first installed, but are starting to haze and run warm. Not sure if it's a problem elsewhere in my fuel system, but it's starting to run like the Marine 300's I ran for a while.

I think everyone that has smokem's injectors are more than satisfied with them. Also, New Era 435s have made a lot of people happy. Great guys at New Era too.

I have tried other companys injectors and i will run DDP hands down. They will go above and beyond to make you happy. They seem to work in my 160 pump truck. Hell i even have them in my tow rig.

I guess I'll be the black sheep here and say get some F1's. My HR370's are awesome.

What are the hp on these?? Or size??

I can say my Ii dragon flows work very good for me, they are supposed to be 175hp over stock, and good for over 900hp so well shall see. i'm also still on stock turbo, not sure what it puts down for power, but the truck pulls hard.
