273 feet.. good for 6th place out of 10 trucks.. First was around 304.

LOL at the announcer's comments.. (listen closely at the end)

I'll be down at Goerends later in the week.. We need to do some serious converter reworking.. This not lighting until 100 feet down the track has got to be fixed..
Currently I can only hit 1700 RPM and it will just sit there.. no amount of feathering will light it.. I need a higher stall.. I am on converter number 2 and this last one seems tighter than the previous one.

You had a good hook going.
Your right though you need a higher stall.
If I was you I would just bite the bullet and get an ATS sledpulling converter to run with your Goerand tranny.

I know where you are coming from but I know Dave can get it figured out. Even my better half has suggested it and shes rather anti-ATS... oke:
It should be beneficial for both of us once he gets a high stall converter mastered.
