Delayed engagement

I've just rebuilt my 47re and installed a trans go tfod shift kit. When cold it works fine but after it warms up when you come to a stop and take back off it's delayed engagement bringing the Rpms up to 900-1,000 it engages and shifts fine????

Check you fuild in N.. with it hot both sides of the dip stick!

After warm is it taking off in 1st? or you having 2nd gear starts?
